KR Group headed by Ján Šefránek works in the area of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning.

Cognitive Science Research Group focuses on modeling of various cognitive processes, mainly in language processing, using symbolic and neural network approaches.

Computational Biology Research Group investigates various algorithmic and machine learning problems in computational biology, and collaborates with molecular biology researchers worldwide on variety of projects.
