Short description:
This lecture provides students with the mathematical foundations of computer science. Students will acquire the “mathematical culture” - basic mathematical language and way of thinking, as well as elementary proof methods.

Recommendations: This is one of the difficult courses, where some percentage of the students usually fails, therefore: pay enough attention to preparation!
